LEAP Program of the Missouri Society for CPAs
Due to the huge demand now and in the future for accountants, the Missouri Society of CPAs created the LEAP (Lead and Enhance the Accounting Profession) program for high school students to raise awareness, build understanding, and change perceptions of the CPA profession.
Each year, both HRH offices participate in The LEAP initiative. We host students from different high schools in the region at our offices, and provide them with an overview of life in a public accounting firm. The students hear about real life as a CPA, receive advice from accountants about education, and talk with young staff and new graduates as well as experienced staff.
