Employee Christmas Charity Drive
Each year, HRH holds an annual employee charity drive. HRH staff members have joined together for the past 19 years to provide holiday gifts or cash donations to designated charitable organizations. Employees also organize a canned food drive to benefit local food pantries.
Some of the charities that have benefited from our past efforts include Circle of Concern, Basket of Hope, Nurses for Newborns, Family Support Network, St. Louis Crisis Nursery, St. Vincent DePaul Society, Boys Hope/Girls Hope, Sts. Joachim and Ann, the Little Wishes program for Foster Children, Support Dogs and Angels’ Arms.
HRH employees volunteer to serve on the charity drive committee which then selects the organizations from a list of charities suggested by staff. Some charities are clients and some are not. Most, however, have a special connection to our firm through staff volunteerism or personal experience.
In addition, HRH has an annual tradition of donating Thanksgiving meals to those in need. In 2009, we once again delivered 50 freshly prepared Thankgiving meals to the Sts. Peter and Paul Homeless Shelter.
