Experienced Professionals

We are always looking for the best and the brightest accounting professionals to join our staff.

We continually look for senior, supervisor and manager level accountants and don’t limit our recruiting efforts to one time of the year. There are many catalysts for change, and those can occur at any time. And we don’t want to miss out on the chance to hire the highest quality professionals by not hiring throughout the year.

Variety is the spice of life

We are truly a full-service CPA firm and we serve a broad range of practice areas and industries.  If you’re interested in business valuation work, we do it. If you like to work with clients involved in real estate development, we have large developers as clients. We work with clients in the entertainment field, professional sports, agriculture, construction, health care, social services, manufacturing … the list goes on.

    

Senior Accountants

We offer positions for professionals experienced in tax, accounting services and audit who have a minimum of three years of experience. You can come right in and work as a senior tax accountant or a senior auditor with three years of experience. You’ll gain more client service responsibility and serve as a mentor and guide to less experienced staff.

And good news - our auditors have very little overnight travel.

If you’ve been in public accounting for over three years, you have a good feel for what you’re looking for in a firm. We may be the perfect fit for you.

Supervisors

Professionals with five to seven years of recent public accounting experience and who are licensed CPAs will be welcome assets in audit or tax. You can also begin to work more in marketing the firm and building the relationships necessary to gain new clients. Not only will you work on your own projects, you will also review and guide the work of junior and senior accountants in your department.

Managers

Professionals with seven-plus years of experience, which includes supervisory experience, will be considered for manager positions. It also helps if you have experience in growing a book of business and understand your role in developing new business for the firm.

You’ll receive the training and support needed to find and develop referral sources for new client work.

You’ll also learn how to manage a client’s book of business.

You’ll lead special projects for the firm and have the chance to develop a niche when possible. You develop many more of the consultative skills you’ll need as you move toward the role of principal.

Principals

We look for a variety of assets in those we consider for partnership in the firm. Above all, we want someone who is a leader. Potential principals must exhibit leadership skills, as well as all of the following qualities:

  • Technical competence
  • A commitment to quality – personally and professionally
  • An ability to promote firm growth
  • The presence of an executive
  • An incomparable business sense

We expect our principals to be leaders in the firm and in the community. And they must adhere to the strictest level of ethics.

Our principals must understand that they are still in a continual mode of growth – personally, professionally and as it relates to the firm. We expect principals to be active in growing the firm and supporting firm initiatives.

We also expect our principals to have demonstrated the business acumen necessary to manage client work without direct supervision.

And our principals must be technically proficient. They also need to develop an expertise in one or more areas of accounting and become known for this outside of the firm.

And it is all in a positive, fun environment where there truly is a focus on a healthy work/life balance.
