Where am I?
Internships
Each year, we hire several interns to work at HRH during busy season (January 10 through April 15.)
With an HRH internship, interns don’t scan, sort or run errands. Our interns prepare income tax returns for individuals and businesses and any associated workpapers. Just like a real accountant.
Here’s what you get with an HRH internship:
- Challenging work environment
- Opportunity to gain valuable work experience in the public accounting industry
- Flexible work schedule
- Competitive compensation
- Central location on Brentwood Blvd. just south of I64/Hwy 40
- “Business appropriate” dress code (neat and professional business casual)
- College credit, if applicable
We like to establish continuing relationships year after year with our interns. Often, this leads to permanent full-time employment with our firm after graduation. Because we consider interns a vital part of our firm, we work to develop long-lasting associations with them.
Think you’re up to the task?
If you:
- are currently enrolled in a Masters of Accountancy (optional specialization in Taxation) or MBA with accounting-emphasis program
- have a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
- are interested in pursuing CPA certification
- are dependable and able to meet deadlines
- enjoy detail-oriented work
- have strong communication skills
- maintain a positive attitude
- are a team player requiring little supervision
- are computer proficient in a Windows environment
then you may be a perfect fit for our firm. Care to join us?
